- Always spend MBS money as if it were your own.
- Keep receipts for all reimbursable expenses.
- MBS pays 58.5 cents per mile for personal vehicle usage.
- No independent contractor expenses will be paid unless there is a completed and signed "Independent Contractor Agreement".
- Generally there is no allowance for buyback entertainment of bookstore personnel. Check with the MBS Rep.
- Rental cars can be necessary, but are expensive. Explore other options (taxi, etc.).
- Independent Contractors are responsible for insurance on rental cars through personal coverage or by purchasing the rental company's insurance, which is reimbursed by MBS.
- MBS will pay for one brief phone call home to confirm arrival at your destination.
