The Philosophy and Practice Behind a Successful Buyer Our mission is simple: To buy back resalable college textbooks from students at a fair price, consistently, courteously, knowledgeably, and efficiently. We want to fill the bookstore's list first (retail), and then buy as many textbooks as possible for resale to the college store industry (wholesale/MBS books). Paramount to your success as an MBS Buyer will be your ability to communicate the above mission to hundreds of college students, most of whom are unsure of the bookstore's and MBS’s motives.
